Honestly, I was pretty much floored with shock when I got the message that you wanted to feature my artwork. I've never had a request before, so naturally I checked out what your group, a group, was like.

And then I saw these paintings.

I love the work I do, as every artist should, both the good and the bad things because they're what help us learn, but I have to say that I thought all those paintings under "Oils" were completely out of my league. I got shivers and just flat out wondered "Why would this group want to feature MY painting?" I like it, of course, but every other one in the gallery seemed to hold so much detail, so much value, so much... experience. I'm only 16, and to be asked to put my painting in among those ones was totally humbling.

Thank you for the experience. Now I've gone and over-dramatized everything, but I just really wanted to say thank you. I'm probably gonna freak out and start assuming these invites'll be piling in now like a pompous teen would, but that'll fade away soon hopefully
